Environmentally Sustainable Design

The design team at de Beer Building Design is always mindful of the principles of Environmentally Sustainable Design (ESD) and applies them to all projects undertaken.

Throughout the design process consideration is given to:-

• Use of renewable resources.
• Building orientation and shading to optimise use of solar energy.
• Incorporation of passive solar principles of design.
• Use of active solar energy systems.
• Development of healthy, low running cost buildings.
